In addition, utilizing the advanced inter station communication function of the device, REF615 can also be used for protection in circular mesh distribution networks or radiation networks. The protected power grid includes multiple feeds and distributed generation.
The REF615 IEC feeder protection and measurement and control device has 12 standard configurations, suitable for commonly used feeder protection and measurement and control applications. The characteristic of REF615 is to support the substation IEC61850 communication standard, parallel redundancy protocol (PRP), and high availability seamless redundancy protocol (HSR), among which the IEC61850 communication standard includes IEC 61850-9-2 LE.
