The new cATM high-performance device transaction module developed by the line eliminates the need to program message instructions between PLCs, making it easier to connect various types and brands of PLCs. The cATM device has a browser driven setup utility that can automatically recognize all controller labels or registers. The interface in this utility allows for dragging and dropping labels or registration data from one controller screen to another. This utility also verifies the labeling/registration transactions between controllers. The cATM high-performance device module is installed in the Rockwell Automation control logix PAC chassis and communicates with the following installed Allen Bradley PLCs: CompactLogix, SLC 500, PLC-5, MicroLogix, and FlexLogix. It also communicates with other PLCs, including Siemens S7 and Schneider Modicon Quantum. It is compatible with the following Allen Bradley data bridges: Ethernet/IP, ControlNet, DH485, and DH+.
